Introducing ‘Measured Albedo in the Wild’ (MAW), a new benchmark for evaluating albedo estimation in the wild (ICCP 2023). MAW measures physically accurate albedo and evaluates using intensity, chromaticity, and texture metrics, vs relative judgement used in defacto WHDR metric.
