"As it stands there are still millions of illegals in the USA, the criminals of the prior regime are still walking free, the Federal Government is as bloated as ever, we keep getting into stupid wars, and Trump can't get popular common sense legislation thru the Senate."
- There are more interior removals happening then ever in history of this nation, including more interior removals than actual deportations occurring in Operation Wetback. Deportations are a logistical battle, which is slow to come online, and it does not help that essentially only 1 district court area allows, detention without bond hearings for illegals.
- The criminals of the prior regime will never be found guilty, most if not all their crimes are located entirely in DC. If you honestly believe a DC jury will find Fauci guilty of something, we have oceanfront property in South Dakota to sell to you.
- The Federal Government is objectively at its lowest number of employees since 1966.
- Wars, being plural would be incorrect. The main military actions have remained on this side of the world, the Venezuela raid, for a lack of a better term, and now the US is stepping up cartel bombings with assistance from Central America.
- The Senate is specifically designed with the theory to not fall under everyday common man pressure.
"We pour legislation into the senatorial saucer to cool it." - George Washington.
They are far harder to apply pressure to, there is absolutely zero pressure you can apply to a Senator who is retiring, or got primaried out, and the pressure you can put on Senators who are not up for reelection is pretty low.
However, the Trump admin has gotten real victories. This admin is the most hostile to legal immigration ever, the most hostile to DEI ever, the most hostile to leftist ideas ever. We have detransitioning clinics being opened, we are making cities safer, we have less crime, we have mass deportations, we have no tax on tips or overtime, we have hundreds if not thousands of regulation repeals, we have billions and billions in savings from DOGE, we have billions and billions of fraud being exposed, charged, and recouped. We have ended assistance to nearly every single illegal, even mixed immigration households don't get assistance. We got remittance tax, we have our federal police forces no longer be tied with the ADL or SPLC, we have active and consistent investigations into Anti-Christian and Anti-White bias. Naturalizations are at their lowest in 40 years, Trump Rx and Trump accounts are both huge wins for everyday Americans. USAID is dead, I-9 audits are up massively, 287(g) agreement increases, revoked over 130k visas, cut UN aid down over 80%, expand and create a federal school choice system. Rent has fallen in basically every single major metro, the 2017 tax cuts are permeant, the wall is being built, and more.
The wins, will always be "small" because due to short internet attention span, the average voter, for better or for worse, will forget it in like a week.
Unpopular opinion: MAGA has jumped the shark.
Spectacle is a wonderful thing. Everyone loves a show. And Trump is possibly the greatest showman who's ever lived.
But spectacle without substance is hollow. Victory laps require wins. And yes, there've been some wins. But they've been relatively small.
As it stands there are still millions of illegals in the USA, the criminals of the prior regime are still walking free, the Federal Government is as bloated as ever, we keep getting into stupid wars, and Trump can't get popular common sense legislation thru the Senate.
Without victories all they can offer is spectacle. And again, spectacle is a wonderful (and potentially powerful) thing. But the show won't go on forever unless there's something substantial behind it.
