@elonmusk why does Powerwall not dynamically balance grid charge based on household load. Adding max supply load parameter will help to prevent middle of the night breaker trips. Maximum Gateway Grid Charge Rate = Grid Circuit Limit - (Household Demand)

The key here is to prevent all loads failing by breaker being tripped due to a greedy grid charge

Adding to that the option for priority charge (order) Priority: 1. EV (prioritize EV charging) 2. Grid Charge (prioritize grid charge) — 3. Balanced (balance available to grid / EV)

Tesla support suggests limiting charge rate of HPWC but this doesn’t factor other dynamic household loads. Mechanical solutions limit charge to the PowerWall or EV (HPWC) could easily be balanced in software parameters.

@electionsvicreceived my postal voting pack by email, clicked link and the site is returning a direct error. 'The message port closed before a response was received.' Tried different browsers, private, incognito...

Looks like the issues have now been resolved. Page is loading and able to download my ballot materials.

@catchoftheday trying to purchase on your wesbite and going in circles. Add to Card. Modify Cart. Cart Empty. Cart Card shows items in it, click cart. Cart Empty. Repeat. I did manage to order, but then got an instant cancellation?

Could be that the item that was previously showing as 18 in stock, is now showing as Sold Out after my order was cancelled.

@VicRoads just received a notice that you couldn’t match my license number after the Optus breach… is that because it’s breached? Seems strange that breached license numbers aren’t matching in your system now? #OptusDataBreach #vicroads

Stand down @VicRoads it looks like someone just failed to upload the breached data with leading 0’s. Text to number gets you every time 🤣 Happy Friday #OptusDataBreach

@Wise your Scheduled Payments really miss the mark. I scheduled a bunch of payments, when I realised that the payments, then tried to cancel as they wouldn’t wait for my Wire Transfer before failing. Now I’m getting failed notifications for payments I can’t even find.
2
Correct. You should be able to, but you can’t view scheduled payments (list) any where in the app or website. So the only way to cancel is when payments start failing. I thought I was setting up future dated payments which would behave in the same way as a ‘Send Money’

@cheesecakeshop why! When you order a cake you’ve had for years and get something completely different that has 0% of the taste or flavour, all while increasing the price! Why would you change a great recipe? Substituting ricotta cheese and a short crust pastry base. FAIL - 0/10

And your shop owner states. ‘Don’t ask for a refund if you don’t like it.’ Guess someone needs to be force-fed this terrible improved new recipe. Learn from other companies that have tried and failed to change a working recipe. @ArnottsBikkies @CadburyAU @Vic_Bitter

When considering that my running cost and service, totals less than $500 for two years.
There has been little to no brake wear due to regenerative braking capturing kinetic energy and converting back to power (inverter generated). The Jeep would be covered in brake dust in a matter of days after its weekly wash.
When considering particulate matter and environmental impact. My Tesla has travelled 30,395km and is still has 2/3 of the tread on the original supplied tyres and the entirety of the brake pads still in use (less than 1% wear).
Although the standing start for 0-100 is some 1 seconds faster in the Tesla due to the consistent torque and efficient power delivery.
When using the comparison to electric vehicles being ‘torque-y’ again not a factual comparison comparison, when considering the 6.4l v8 engine generating 344kw the Tesla M3P generating less 335kw, so is actually less Torque-y than the ICE counterpart.
As an owner of an EV (Tesla Model 3 Performance) which is 1847kg, when compared with the previous vehicle I drove a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT, weighing in at 2351kg, Indicates that the electric version is actually some 500kg lighter. Making the claim a significant overstatement.
