ALT Nature, Race, and Indigeneity in the US taught by Carlos Alonso Nugent (Assistant Professor of English and Comparative Literature). Examines how nature has inspired various groups and sparked conflicts between settlers and Native Americans, racial groups, and social class in America. Funds will cover a museum visit

ALT The Science of World History taught by Matthew Delvaux. Trains students in adapting the material sciences for historical research, with a focus on connectivity, migration, and environmental history. Funds will support guest collaborators and materials.

ALT Science, Technology, and Human Rights taught by Martin Chalfie and Rebecca Everly. Explores how scientific research and technology can both promote and undermine human rights. Funds will support research time and materials.
