Bitcoin adoption in India 🇮🇳 remains one of the most underreported trends in Bitcoin.
An incredible amount of adoption is happening in one of the world's most populous countries, and it's occurring thanks to the work that the likes of Karan Gill (
@KrnGill5) and Aditya Ranjan (
@em_Adii) of
@bitcoinbharat_ are doing.
Gill and Ranjan have organized almost 100 in-person Bitcoin education events across India, reaching over 13,000 of their fellow countrypeople in the process.
What is more, they aim to educate 100,000 Indians in-person before 2027 is out.
And this is to say nothing of their efforts to teach corporate leaders in India about the value of investing in bitcoin, how they incentivize Indian Bitcoin content creators, or the major Bitcoin conference they plan to host in India in 2027.
I wrote about all of this and more in my latest Spotlight piece for
@fedibtc.
