At the 25th EAC Heads of State Summit in Arusha, Partner States renewed their commitment to eliminate Non-Tariff Barriers (NTBs) and set a deadline of 30 June 2026 to resolve all outstanding cases in @jumuiya. But beyond the commitments lies a critical question; At #RIC2025, the CEO of @PSF_RWA challenged the region: Who will hold our governments accountable for delivering on these commitments? As East Africa pursues deeper regional integration and industrial growth, accountability remains key. The conversation continues at #RIC2026, 18–19 August 2026, Kampala Serena Hotel, Uganda. @mtic_uganda @PSF_Uganda @AGRA_Africa @TradeMarkAfrica @UgEquityBank @mtnug @mtnmomoug @MbalePark @newsUMA

At last year’s RIC Conference (#RIC2025) at @kampalaserena Hotel, @The_UIA CEO Jonan Kisakye highlighted key progress in manufacturing insurance uptake. He noted that while 90% of large manufacturers are insured, coverage among smaller manufacturers remains lower at 64%. He further emphasized strong claims performance in the sector, with 94% of manufacturers who filed claims receiving compensation, and 64% reporting positive claims experiences. The message was clear: as industrial competitiveness grows, strong risk protection and trust in financial systems remain central to sustainable growth. #RIC2026 And this year, we are back again. 📅 18–19 August 2026 📍 @kampalaserena Hotel, Uganda Register Now: ricconference.com #RIC2026 #Industrialization #RegionalIntegration #EAC #AfCFTA #Manufacturing #Innovation #AgroIndustrialization #ValueAddition #EastAfrica #Trade #Investment
