Notice is hereby given that the PS2 have been given approval to hold a Small Flotilla event from 1100hrs to 1230hrs on 03/08/2024.
The event will take place between Maysfield Basin and McConnell Weir.
River users are asked to exercise due caution around the event and give the participants a wide berth where possible.
The River Warden's boat will be on duty to ensure that river users comply with the River Lagan Tidal Navigation and General Bye-Laws (NI) 2007 applicable to this Notice.
The bus has gone on! I went to see the progress of Paddy Bloomer's recycled boat. I mentioned it first a few posts back. It is called the Lagan Lighter. The bow and stern are in place and the cabin, as you can see, is too. The hull is the body of an old wind turbine. You can read more about the project here: waterworks.site/experimental…
