In chapter 4 of #DailySTEM, author @dailystem discusses cardboard! I read aloud THE LITTLE RED FORT, & I challenged the book study participants (K-5 teachers) to use #BoxLox to co-create the tallest fort that could hold 2 people. We used quotes (A-Z) from the book to reflect.

Lets be honest, science is a communications class. Getting students to listen to sense-making of others, using spoken & written words, or modeling, to share their sense-making. It has to start with good listening. #NGSSchat
