My post for the Sierra Club on Point Molate. Richmond is rich in transit - BART, Amtrak, bus corridors, & ferry. It needs housing served by these modes, not a new suburb on shoreline parkland. @WhollyH2o @ptmolate @eastshorepark

We salute the leadership demonstrated by @supejohngioia on June 17th, when he led a large majority of the @sfbcdc in deferring for four months its consideration of an ill-conceived development plan for Point Molate in Richmond.

Fire season 2021 is looking grim. Our region's FMCs are tracking lower than the minimum-- a new record low. This is caused by the lack/delay of new growth. Average is 137%, low is 115%, 2021= 97% #wildfire #CAwx @wildfirecenter
