Administratīvā rajona tiesa ir pieņēmusi SLO biedrības Drosme Darīt pieteikumu un ierosinājusi administratīvo lietu par Ministru kabineta rīkojumu, ar kuru akceptēta vēja elektrostaciju parka “EKO Ziemeļi” būvniecība Kuldīgas novada Ēdoles un Padures pagastos.
Šis nav stāsts par “pret vēju” vai “pret atjaunojamo enerģiju”.
Šis ir stāsts par to, vai Latvijā liela mēroga industriālus projektus drīkst akceptēt, ja būtiski jautājumi par ietekmi uz vidi, cilvēku dzīves kvalitāti, troksni, mirgošanu, putniem, sikspārņiem, kumulatīvo ietekmi un infrastruktūru nav izvērtēti pietiekami pilnvērtīgi.
Mūsu pozīcija ir vienkārša:
pirms projekta akceptēšanas ir jābūt skaidrām būtiskākajām ietekmēm, nevis cerībai, ka “kaut ko precizēs vēlāk”.

The skull and crossbones emblem, seen on the 15 cm SK L/45 gun mount of the wrecked German auxiliary cruiser Kormoran, was a unique symbol adopted by its crew.
During WWII, as a Hilfskreuzer (auxiliary cruiser) disguised as a merchant ship for commerce raiding, the Kormoran used this pirate-associated emblem to project intimidation and defiance.
