We respect the rule of law - US and state laws.
TEXAS IS WIDE AWAKE Standing room only. Every seat filled. People lined the walls. Overflow spilling into the aisles. Hundreds showed up for a lunch and learn on Sharia law right here in Texas. Amy Mek stood with Congressman Chip Roy, Rep. Keith Self, and State Rep. Brent Money. They are building the Sharia Free Texas push to keep one American law for all. Here is the honest truth. Sharia operates as a complete parallel system covering marriage, inheritance, crime, and rights that directly conflicts with constitutional equality and due process. Texas lawmakers are drawing a hard line with a growing caucus to stop any foothold. America built its strength on one set of rules applied equally no matter your background or belief. Europeโ€™s experiment with accommodations has delivered no go zones, parallel courts, and growing division. Texans packed that room because they refuse to repeat those mistakes. How many more cities need to see this reality before the rest of America acts?

He was counting down the days to graduation. Caps and gowns had already been ordered. College plans were taking shape. At home in Colorado, his family was preparing to watch him walk across that stage and begin the life he had worked toward. His name was Kendrick Castillo. Born March 14, 2001, and raised in Denver, he was a senior at STEM School Highlands Ranch. He loved robotics. He loved learning. He had the kind of quiet strength that teachers notice and friends rely on. In May 2019, he was just days away from receiving his diploma. On May 7, 2019, he sat in British literature class. The class was watching The Princess Bride. It was an ordinary afternoon. Laughter. A familiar room. The comfort of routine. The sort of day that passes without leaving a mark. Then the door opened. An armed student walked in and told everyone not to move. For a split second, the world stopped. Kendrick was close to the gunman. Close enough to understand what was happening. Close enough to know that every second mattered. He did not duck under a desk. He did not crawl away. He did not wait for someone else. He lunged forward. In that heartbeat, this young man, barely eighteen, made a decision most adults pray they will never have to make. He charged the shooter, giving his classmates a chance to run. Others followed his lead and tackled the gunman. Because of those seconds, many students were able to escape. Kendrick was shot. His classmates tried to save him. They pressed on the wound. They called his name. They pleaded with him to stay. But he did not survive. One student later said Kendrick died a legend. Another said he would carry his memory for the rest of his life. His father, John Castillo, spoke with a strength that no parent should ever need. He said his son cared deeply about others and always wanted to protect people. He admitted he wished his son had hidden, wished he had run. But that was not who Kendrick was. That line stays with you. That was not who he was. In a world where we often hear about fear and cruelty, this teenager showed something older and stronger. Instinctive courage. Selflessness without calculation. The kind of character many of us were taught to admire when we were young. He was eighteen years old. For those of us who have watched our own children grow, who have sat at graduation ceremonies, who have felt that mix of pride and hope, this story hits deep. It is every parentโ€™s worst nightmare. It is also a reminder of what one life can mean in a single moment. Because Kendrick stood up, others went home to their families that night. He never got to wear his cap and gown. But he left behind something far greater than a diploma. He left behind an example. Kendrick Castillo 2001 to 2019 He did not run. He did not hide. He chose others. May we remember him. Try to keep up with me big boy. We run circles around you.
Replying to @TrueTXProject
@MattShaheen killed every election integrity bill in the 89th Session, including closed primaries and cleaning the voter rolls. He would rather listen to the Project Red Texas run by a lobbyist who opposes closed primaries than the grassroots. Heโ€™s now the definition of a RINO.

Lt Gov Patrick did a great job and looked great!
From a health standpoint, I've only seen Patrick look worse once before in 25 years of knowing him. And a jacket &.turtleneck in June in Texas makes you wonder if he's having issues regulating his temperature

I agree. We are all human beings and am not understanding the support given to murders and lack of humanity toward the victims.
You know what Iโ€™ve been thinking about? There are far more racist people in this country than I ever realized. I have been blown away watching people celebrate the death of a White teenage boy simply because the person who killed him was Black. This teenager was not on drugs. He was not a troublemaker. He had never committed a crime. He played sports, made good grades, respected his parents, and was loved by so many people. Yet some people have found joy in his death because they care more about race than right and wrong. That is not justice. That is racism, hatred, and pure evil. A teenage boy lost his life. Anyone celebrating that should be ashamed.

My neighbor Mr Daniel fell and broke his hip and is now on hospice. He is a WWII Navy veteran and a very generous man with his time and was very independent even in his old age. He would turn 100 this summer. In your charity, consider a prayer for him.

I am literally shaking. Some teenager threw a rock off an overpass and did this to my truck. I caught him, and his dad had the nerve to say, "Heโ€™s just a kid being a kid, Iโ€™ll give you $50 for the 'inconvenience'." $50?? This is a specialized windshield with sensors! He told me I was "ruining a childโ€™s future" by calling the police. I feel like heโ€™s raising a criminal and expects me to pay for it. Do I press full charges?

Thank you for speaking out. Justice is - or should be - blind to race.
Unfollow me if you have a problem with me being Black and not supporting Karmelo Anthony. I will not be intimidated by the threats Iโ€™ve been receiving from Karmelo Anthony supporters. He took someone elseโ€™s life. Austin Metcalf is never coming back. His family will never get to hug him again. His parents have to wake up every single day knowing their son is gone forever. I am not standing with someone based on skin color. I am a human being first. And one human being wrongly killed another human being. If you think Austinโ€™s killing was no big deal because he was white, then you are straight-up racist. Wrong is wrong. I donโ€™t care if the victim is white, Black, Hispanic, Asian, or anything else. A life was taken, and I will never celebrate that. I will never excuse that. And I will never be bullied into defending it.
