You can tell from the comments how much it pisses them off when they brag about wanting foreigners out, and a country actually calls their bluff.
The embarrassment hits their ego so hard, they turn that shame into lashing out in the replies.

Ludwig Cramer, pictured with his wife and cousin Adelheid ‘Ada’ Cramer, was the culprit.
He was sentenced to 20 months, later reduced to 4 months and 2,800 Marks, for his violent treatment of farm workers.
4 years later, he died from a blasting incident on his farm.

The companies that are laying people off are the companies that benefitted from the pandemic. Society is reverting to pre-pandemic patterns. We're heading towards the place people in 2019 would have expected we'd be in 2023. '20-'22 were a blip and the blip is over.
