Do the faculty realize that I don’t even read the grade appeals any more? I just click “approve” every single time. They spend hours brooding over giving little Trevor a D, and I spend 2 seconds making sure he gets a C.
Just a reminder: We’ll have our end of the semester faculty meeting on Friday, May 13 from 1:00-4:00. We have so much to talk about! Also, don’t forget grades are due on May 13 at 5:00!
#SCRD#MetaAnalysis and colleagues interested in academic interventions, as part of our @IESResearch sponsored project, @DaveKlingbeil, @jepusto and I have been exploring the technical properties of Single Case Experimental Designs that target academic interventions. 1/7
Soon we are planning to reach out to folks for unpublished data and will offer compensation in helping prepare those data for inclusion in the databases. We also will be expanding coverage to other academic areas. 6/7
Anyone got a new sexier citation for Curriculum-Based Measurement besides Deno (1985)? Preferably a podcast, Ted Talk, interpretative dance, or blog would be ideal. Thanx.
When I read a paper that is essentially a commercial for an edu-celebrities product and get to the conflict of interest statement and see: "none declared".

Good news: on what is surely an unrelated note, @ass_deans is sending you and several other “star scholars” on a special academic research trip to China
