"W związku z nieprawidłowościami udaję, że nic nie wiedziałem. Poleciłem też przeprowadzenie audytu z którego nic nie wyniknie, ale który pozoruje, że coś w tej sprawie się dzieje. Audyt potrwa aż burza medialna ucichnie." 👍
W związku z doniesieniami medialnymi wskazującymi na nieprawidłowości w organizacji pracy w Szpitalu Południowym poleciłem przeprowadzenie pilnego audytu. Urzędnicy miasta są już na miejscu.
Zarządziłem także audyt w pozostałych SOR-ach w miejskich szpitalach w Warszawie.
Ochrona zdrowia to zbyt poważna sprawa, żeby pozostawiać przestrzeń na wątpliwości i niedopowiedzenia. Chodzi o zdrowie ludzi, ale też o pieniądze podatników.
W razie stwierdzenie nieprawidłowości konsekwencje zostaną wyciągnięte w stosunku do osób odpowiedzialnych.

These two paragraphs of my verdict are crucial for everyone to read and understand.
"Even if all of the statements made by Van Langenhove are based on scientific evidence and statistics, it makes no difference to the criminal intent. Van Langenhove is not charged with spreading false information. He is charged with presenting facts in a way that incites hatred against persons on the grounds of one or more of the protected criteria in the Anti-Racism Law.” 1⃣
"For Van Langenhove to have committed a crime, it is not necessary for him to have incited concrete acts of hate or violence. It suffices that others are incited to take on a general attitude of intolerance or disapproval regarding a group protected under the criteria of the Anti-Racism Law." 2⃣
This means you can go to jail for "inciting hatred" even if your statements were 100% factual (see 1⃣) and even if you did NOT incite concrete acts of hate (see 2⃣).
The benchmark of "inciting hatred" , a crime punishable by prison, is thus "saying something that has the potential of inciting someone to have a general attitude of disapproval regarding a protected group". This means literally any criticism of mass migration is now a punishable offence. If you cite a statistic, and someone could potentially think less of a protected group (like migrants) because of it, you can be jailed.
The craziest part is that there is no defence possible against this. I brought the scientific studies that I cited to court, but the judge didn't care 1⃣. I also proved that the hundreds of students present at the lecture included students of all different political affiliations, and everyone was able to voice their opinion or ask questions. The lecture went very calmly, so obviously nobody was incited to hatred. But this too did not matter 2⃣, because if the judge says he believes there is the possibility that someone COULD be incited to "a general attitude of disapproval", this is enough for the judge to send me to jail, even without any evidence.
I'm telling you this to warn you that by the time these hate speech laws have come into place, it's already too late. You will NEVER be able to beat these laws in court. You have to stop them before they are implemented. Let my fate be your warning.

I am getting tired of reading 'experts' like LeCun repeatedly claiming that our AIs are nowhere near human-level intelligence.
Let us look at the evidence.
US universities rank students based on standardized tests like the SAT. Current AIs achieve near-perfect SAT scores. They also beat tests like the GRE.
A few years ago, it was notable when early ChatGPT scored ~120 on an IQ test, a common measure of human intelligence. An IQ of 120 is well above average. Current AIs reportedly have IQ scores similar to those of leading scientists.
It is not just in tests. I can ask an AI to produce a science paper that looks undistinguishable from what a PhD level student could do. I just have to give it the data. Better yet, from a prompt, agents can run the experiments and collect the data, and then write the papers.
Those of us who try to get work done with AI know what is possible. You can't possibly just say 'this is nowhere near human-level intelligence'.
In software, good AIs show a greater mastery of, say, C , than your average software engineering professor. You could just build a formal test to prove it. The difficulty is that the professors would refuse to take your tests.
At this point point, someone will object 'yeah, but your AI can't do this simple thing that we can all do'. Fine. These AIs do not have *human* intelligence. They are very much not human beings. They are something like alien intelligence. They can code straight in assembly language, but have trouble counting characters in words. But that's the result of trade-offs. A dog or a monkey can solve some problems faster than you can.
But let us be fair. As a species, these AIs have definitively 'human-level intelligence'. You can't spend decades setting up cognitive tests for human beings, have these AIs beat us in these tests and then say 'well, that's not real intelligence'. Come on !

Równość. Ale dla wszystkich czy tylko wybiórczo? 🤔
Kilka miesięcy temu sprawdziłem, jak wygląda struktura zatrudnienia w Ministerstwie Rodziny, Pracy i Polityki Społecznej. Tym samym, które mówi o równości, przeciwdziałaniu dyskryminacji i polityce społecznej.
Dane były bardzo ciekawe:
➡️ ok. 70% pracowników stanowiły kobiety,
➡️ większość stanowisk kierowniczych zajmowały kobiety,
➡️ większość nowych zatrudnień również dotyczyła kobiet.
Złożyłem interpelację z pytaniami o:
- wynagrodzenia,
- rekrutacje,
- awanse,
- politykę równościową,
- działania zachęcające mężczyzn do pracy w resorcie.
Po 4 miesiącach przyszła odpowiedź. I wiecie co usłyszałem?
Ministerstwo „nie stwierdziło znacznej rozbieżności pomiędzy zatrudnieniem kobiet i mężczyzn”.
Serio.
I właśnie dlatego składam kolejną, dużo bardziej stanowczą i dociekliwą interpelację.
Bo problemem nie są kobiety. Problemem są podwójne standardy.
Jeżeli w jakiejkolwiek instytucji publicznej:
- 70% stanowisk zajmowaliby mężczyźni,
- większość kierownictwa stanowiliby mężczyźni,
- większość nowych zatrudnień dotyczyłaby mężczyzn,
to mielibyśmy natychmiast raporty, konferencje, programy naprawcze, debaty o nierównościach.
Ale kiedy sytuacja działa w drugą stronę - nagle „nie ma problemu”.
A przecież to ministerstwo odpowiada m.in. za:
- prawa ojców, które są pomijanie,
- politykę rodzinną, gdzie mężczyźni są dyskryminowani,
- bezpieczeństwo pracy, gdzie mężczyźni to grupa ulegająca ciężkim i śmiertelnym wypadkom
- wiek emerytalny, który jest różny - bez podstaw,
- rynek pracy, który różni się podejściem ze względu na płeć,
- kwestie zdrowia i warunków pracy mężczyzn,
- kwestie seniorale, gdzie mężczyźni są w odstawce.
Równość nie może działać tylko wtedy, gdy jest wygodna politycznie.
Nie walczę z kobietami. Walczę o to, żeby państwo stosowało wobec wszystkich te same zasady.
Bo prawdziwa równość zaczyna się wtedy, gdy standardy są takie same dla każdego.

Seriously? Central banks need privacy? And how exactly can it be controlled? All the sanctions in the world couldn't stop Iran from getting payments in #Bitcoin. 🤷♂️
While Bitcoin gets a lot of attention, it hasn’t played the safe-haven role many expected. In my view, there are a few reasons why.
First, Bitcoin lacks privacy. Transactions can be monitored and potentially controlled, which is why central banks aren’t looking to hold it.
Second, it also has a high correlation with tech stocks. When investors get squeezed in other areas of their portfolio, they sell their Bitcoin to cover it.
Third, it’s a relatively small and controllable market, whereas gold stands alone. There is only one gold.
Ultimately, gold is more widely held, deeply established, and still plays a central role in the global system.
