I’ve once thought this myself. But the problem is sometimes a Ui component is the only one that knows what data it needs and that is dependent on the specific set of props passed. May even depend on the state of that component.

Take software like buddhism. Learn to let go of your code. Once it leaves your local environment it’s not your code anymore, it’s your teams code.
I have seen so many people failing to do this and loving their code too much in PRs. Code should and will evolve, embrace it let go.

I don't know who needs to hear it, but: please don't add "middleware" to your client-side routes. Link clicks should be handled via the shortest possible path if intercepted on the client. The more you do in response to links/routes, the more likely it is to fail.
