So called “savarNa”, “brahminical” perspective is underrepresented and not overrepresented in academia and media be it in India or worldwide By that I mean a traditionalist view of Indian religion and history. Not the birth identity of the liberal commentators who are no doubt significantly “savarNa” Part of the reason is that “traditionalist and yet rigorous” perspectives don’t really exist anymore. Most “trads” dislike modern methods of research . While most rigorous academics are almost entirely liberal / left leaning The likes of say Nilakantha Shastri or PV Kane or M Hiriyanna don’t exist anymore

It is very easy for a 7 digit salary earner to say and advise that company must have ventured into AI, this co into aerospace and some one else into say semiconductor. My advice to such folks. Resign your job, do a simple business in India say catering or kirana shop, employ 3-4 people and figure out the day to day complexities in running those. Your thighs will start shivering and you will abandon the business in 3 months. Easy to earn 7 figure salary and comment they did not do this or that! India is not a free market like USA to flourish snd then innovate. It is still stuck in socialism, permit and inspection raj. Ambanis and Mahindras or any other small co achieving this much itself despite such odds is stupendous. We succeed despite govt. Understand that. India is not USA where the system helps you win. You need to win despite the system here. Kindly resign your job, run a small business successfully and comment.

Ok Muthu, try spinning this GST collections in 2025-26 GJ - 80.8K CR TN - 78.2K CR Per capita GST GJ - 10.9k TN - 10.1K GJ's PCGDP is 6% lower than TN but it's PCGST is 8% higher. Why is TN doing worse than GJ?

I know a real life scenario of a similar guy and let me tell you about the woman in the middle who married him. Guy was MBB and 2cr before 35. Married intellectual working woman who made 25% of his pay. They have couple of kids and both continue their career in their 40s. They guy now makes 2x and the woman is still 25% of his pay. He calls all the shots, does what he wants, hangs out with his kids at his convenience and obviously doesn't bother about daily life stuff. The woman though close to 1cr has to bear all home responsibilities, take care of 3 kids, while proving herself at work all day. Poor woman hasn't seen a day off and seems always tired. For this type of a man with money they will want to have the world revolve around them. For a woman with this money, money is just something she has. The man will most likely marry down/middle to feel God at home. I would be very surprised if it happens otherwise.

Probably the biggest issue with IT services org is they can't benchmark & differentiate a 95th %ile talent and 70th %ile talent. Telugu managers and recruiters have essentially nuked merit & competency incentives in order to hire friends, relatives, cousins etc.

Critical insight here by @PawanKalyan garu. It is unlikely that he reasoned the systemic roots of the issue but his natural empathy, love for people and intuition led him to an important Leadership lesson. India's problems must be framed as systemic and not (exclusively) social. This misframing has caused the State encroachment into societal spaces and drowned Hindu society in guilt only to be exploited by the cynical public leaders like Rahul Gandhi. The civilization had sophisticated means for different communities to retain their ritual praxis without encroaching into each other. This 'thick' culture is what saved us during a millennia of attacks. The colonial administration however centralizing power and homogenizing spaces created perpetual conflict by design. Unfortunately, Indian State post independence did not reset this and doubled down. We judge the society for not being 'progressive' whereas a systemic and empathetic outlook would mean we understand that the communities are struggling to retain their coherence. In the absence of the inter-dependent design, this natural urge to define their boundaries for coherence leads to stagnation, conflict and anomie. The solution does not lie in castigating the society and imposing State to radically reform but in tuning public administration to deliver public goods in a way that generates social surplus. Such surplus will lead to pro-social behaviors once the communities do not feel their ways are threatened. Hindu society always responds to higher calling - Only someone who has unshakeable faith in this will be a jananayaka in Bharat.
