I am delighted to share that I, along with Hardeep Singh Puri, had the opportunity to launch the 100% ethanol-compatible version of the WagonR—Maruti Suzuki’s best-selling car. Regarding motorcycles, Hero MotoCorp—which accounts for three out of every five motorcycles sold—has launched two flex-fuel models capable of running on 100% ethanol. Following this, companies like Toyota, Suzuki, MG, and Hyundai will launch 100% ethanol-compatible vehicles within the next month and a half. Thus, ethanol will serve as a viable alternative to petrol. People used to laugh when I spoke of this dream, and some friends even criticised it...Soon, we will launch a pilot project in Nagpur featuring a hydrogen pump and two hydrogen-powered buses. The public will be able to ride these hydrogen buses, which will be powered by green hydrogen extracted from water using an electrolyser. That day is now near.”

I find it hard to believe govt of India cannot fund frontier LLMs by itself. Karnataka is about to spend 2 BILLION DOLLARS on an underground tunnel. We just need to cut a few of these projects and we have the money. The real problem is we're drowning in corruption and stupidity.

After the brutal first half of June, even a few 10–30 mm thunderstorm spells over parts of Chennai would feel like a major victory. Fingers crossed to see if KTCC gets its first seasonal thunderstorm show tonight. If not today, we have good chances over the next couple of days.

The weak monsoon in Kerala from yesterday opens the door for these leeward-side thunderstorms, whereas a very strong organized monsoon can confine the rainfall to the windward side and Ghat.
