🌍 Exciting News for Researchers in Tanzania! 🌱 I'm thrilled to announce the launch of the Tanzania Land Use Tool (TLUT), a powerful resource for researchers interested in understanding land use dynamics in Tanzania. TLUT allows users to select any ward in Tanzania and choose a specific year of interest. Leveraging data from Google Dynamic World V1, computed from Sentinel imagery spanning from 2016 to the present, TLUT provides comprehensive land use and land cover information for the selected region and year. With TLUT, researchers can easily download results ready for use in any desktop software, facilitating analysis and decision-making processes. It's a game-changer for anyone studying environmental changes, urban development, agriculture, and more. However, it's essential to note that TLUT focuses exclusively on Tanzania, and land use information before 2016 is not available.
