Big milestone for Reducto: we’ve raised a $75M Series B led by a16z, bringing our total funding to $108M.
Since our launch, we’ve been obsessed with pushing the limits of what’s possible when AI meets the real-world messiness of documents. We’ve now processed 1B pages, nearly 6x the pages since our Series A less than 6 months ago.
We’re doubling down on model research, developer tooling, and the reliability that production AI demands. We'll be announcing a series of product improvements that will extend our capabilities even further, helping our customers get even closer to perfect accuracy across their most challenging docs.

The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.
Access to all other Claude models is not affected.
We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible.

try asking it (web search disabled) about random people you know who may have only have 1-2 public internet sources about them

Introducing Dynamo Snapshot, our approach for fast startup for inference workloads on Kubernetes, which reduces startup time from minutes to under 5 seconds.
In production inference deployments demand fluctuates over time. Cold-starting inference workloads can take minutes, leaving idle GPUs that generate no tokens and serve no requests.
Snapshot leverages GMS to enable concurrent weight restoration over a high-speed interconnect, while using Linux native AIO and parallel memfd restoration to accelerate CRIU restore performance.

my biggest complaint about @Cloudflare/wrangler is that there's no way for an agent to setup CD for me without manually clicking through their UI (unless I want to expose deployment tokens to my github actions)
this is one area @vercel is unmatched
