When The Notorious B.I.G. passed away, Faith Evan was automatically awarded 50% of his estate. His children split the other 50%. However Faith decided to split her half with his mother. They turned it from 10 million to 160 million.
In her 2008 "Keep the Faith" memoir, Faith wrote, "I could have just made sure she was taken care of and then had my attorney let her attorney know our plans. But I wanted actual input from her on how she wanted things to be handled. And I wanted to have her there just as a way to show her that I was trying to be open and collaborative in the whole process."
