To mark #InternationalGirlsDay, this weekend @unicefrw joined @GuidesRwanda for a 2-day #SolutionLab empowering 16 girl leaders from 6 districts to tackle climate change. Via the "GLACC" initiative, 11K girls were trained to take #ClimateAction to their schools & communities.

Today, we held a #Kwibuka31 commemoration event at our office, in remembrance of our dearly departed colleagues who were killed during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. Though the mood was solemn, the resolve remains steadfast: Never Again. Remember - Unite - Renew

The 1994 genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda was not a spontaneous frenzy of horrendous violence. It was intentional. It was premeditated. It was planned. This terrible period of Rwanda’s history reminds us that no society is immune from hate and horror.
