The fact that the Redhill CC rider in the pic is 81 and can still knock out 70 miles on a Sunday is also testament to the fact that cycling keeps you looking and functioning better for longer!

With huge regret & frustration we have decided to cancel tonight's @redhillcc TT at Horne & the rest of the 2019 series. 'Completed' works on the narrow bends on Bones Lane have failed & cars could easily swing into the path of riders. Not prepared to take the chance. Sorry all.

With face-palming frustration & regret, we're cancelling tonight's TT at Horne. Sections of the course are collapsed or coned-off so the risk of drivers misjudging oncoming speed of riders makes the hazards too great. Apologies all. @norwoodparagon @OxtedCC @TriSurrey @lea_keith

The Bones Lane lights have gone!! At last we can bumpstart our TT series down at Horne after 3 weeks suspension. £3 entry tomorrow. 7.15pm to make sure of sign on what will be a popular night. @OxtedCC @lea_keith @TriSurrey

So often we see or share videos of awful driving around cyclists, so this textbook pass from an exceptionally patient & careful HGV driver for D&W Agri coming into Jedburgh deserves sharing, as does Rhoda's response! They're not on Twitter but we've thanked the haulier directly.
