What a scummy liar. Not only is he belittling the suffering of the Lebanese, but he’s also pushing Israeli lies. He’s coping with the fact that the Shia are defending themselves and are at the forefront against Israel rather than doing what he and his forefathers did—run away.

Since March, Israel has killed less than 4,000 citizens of Lebanon. That's roughly the rate of 2–2.5 days of Israel's toll in Gaza. Israel is obviously exercising greater constraint in Lebanon when it comes to kill rates.
On the other hand, this suggests Lebanon is mostly suffering from limited human damage compared to Gaza, unlike what the false Hezbollah media portrays. The suffering of the Lebanese people is terrible but should also never be equated to the suffering of Palestinians. Palestinians are undergoing a genocide while Hezbollah is at war at will.
Iran and its proxies have been trying to frame this whole war as if it is about them and their heroism. They are not heroes. Iran has killed more Iranians than Israel has. Hezbollah has killed more Arabs and Muslims than Israel has. And now in the war they are fighting limitedly, and this is not the conduct of heroes. It is low-rate fighting.
Most of those killed are not Hezbollah fighters. If we assume 20% were, this leaves Hezbollah's toll at roughly 700–800 only. And this is a high markup; in reality the number is closer to 300, if not 200. This is not because Hezbollah is good at hiding. This is because the fighting is genuinely limited. Overall, in combat, Hezbollah lost only around 1200 fighters at most.
Iran and Hezbollah spread propoganda. They are exploiting the Palestinian suffering to moralise their otherwise immoral and unpopular conduct. Those who are pro Palestine have fallen for the fake rhetorical traps and the desire to glorify a hero even when there is not one.

Hezbollah has firmly denied any connection to a man featured in a recent CNN report, stressing that no coordination took place and calling on media outlets to uphold journalistic ethics.
In a statement issued in response to the CNN report, Hezbollah’s Media Relations Department said the individual presented as one of its alleged fighters has no affiliation with the group.

Not only is he a filthy liar but he was clearly introduced to internal Lebanese politics after 2023. Hezbollah never blocked alternatives. The airport in Beirut (Rafic Hariri airport) is controlled by a Saad Hariri crony named Mohammad El-Hout (Middle East airlines). So it wouldn't be to their benefit for another airport to take away traffic, no matter how little it is.
That’s only one of many hurdles, including Lebanon needing permission from Syria since it’s only a few kilometres from the Syrian border, infrastructure challenges, disputes among politicians and businessmen over airport development and operating contracts while trying to secure land deals around the airport.
Despite this symbolic event, the airport isn't "opened" and there's a lot issues that remain unresolved.

🇱🇧 After decades of Hezbollah blocking alternatives to Beirut Airport, Lebanon has officially reopened Qalaiat Airport in the north for civilian flights.
Prime Minister Nawaf Salam arrived on the first flight, marking what many see as a symbolic blow to Hezbollah's long-standing control over the country's main air gateway.
For years, Beirut Airport was effectively the only door in and out of Lebanon, giving Hezbollah enormous influence over a critical piece of national infrastructure.
Nawaf declared that Qalaiat will not replace Beirut Airport, but made clear that all Lebanese airports must operate under the authority of the Lebanese state, not any armed faction.
