Led by @LagomarsinoGina, CEO, a team from @results4dev paid a courtesy call on @WHOGhana.
Discussions highlighted the partnership between the two organisations, particularly in supporting Ghana’s free #PHC policy, with a focus on sustaining & strengthening future collaboration.
In the opening presentation at the satellite session, Samantha Durdock, Market Shaping Advisor at @results4dev, stressed that the quality of maternal health medicines must be maintained throughout the system, from procurement to point of care.
From regulatory oversight to market monitoring, every step in the supply chain must ensure that life-saving solutions reach mothers safely and effectively.

Every mother deserves safe childbirth. However, postpartum hemorrhage continues to claim lives because proven solutions are not always available where they are needed most.
Today at #IMNHC2026, @results4dev hosted a side event themed "Aligning Incentives and Unlocking Access to Quality MNH Commodities" to spotlight how countries are putting innovations into practice and ensuring life-saving solutions reach the mothers who need them most.

The #USA has been one of @Gavi’s oldest and strongest partners. Together we have helped cut child mortality in half, immunised a whole generation of children, helped keep our world safe. In addition to our contribution to global health, @Gavi has shined a light on how to do development well: contributing to broader economic growth, societal cohesion and – importantly – helping countries get to a stage when they no longer need our help.
I want to thank all of our partners in government, civil society, business and the media for their messages of support as we seek to secure the funds to continue our mission – and immunise a further 500 million children in the coming five years. With your support, Gavi will keep on delivering on its mission, keep on protecting the whole world with our stockpiles for #Ebola, #mpox and #yellowfever vaccines, and keep on generating huge returns on investment for our donors. #forourfuture: bit.ly/3FISAyP
#USA support for @Gavi is vital. With US support, we can save over 8 million lives over the next 5 years and give millions of children a better chance at a healthy, prosperous future. But investing in Gavi brings other benefits for our world and the American people. Here’s why:
