I had to drop out of #ICA23 due to being in the last few weeks of pregnancy, but do make sure to attend the panel that I organised with @riankasingh on Mediated Silence and Feminist Refusals, Sat 27 at 9am!
I’m so glad we are all taking this time to celebrate the amazing community that formed around the centre. PhD student life at U of T was made so much richer thanks to the folks who visited and brought feminine media studies to Toronto.
❤️@TMirrlees_ all for your tweets. The blog was written by someone who refers to the book w/@riankasingh as the "Feminine" Extensions of MM. If you'll excuse me now, I'm going to go gingerly and softly extend McLuhan @iccitutm as @bazintastic does his good thing at the centre.
Please come and join us (virtually) for the @DISCOnetwork_ Humanities and Technoscience Lab Lecture Series with @riankasingh for her talk "Platform Feminism and the Politics of Elevation. Its Tomorrow December 1st 4-5:30. Zoom info on the poster!!!
