An outstanding meeting: #CAP25

Thank you @ProfRAScolyer for sharing your inspiring story. Best wishes.
I was very touched to receive the 2025 Inner West Citizen of the Year award from my local council and other community members in late May. Due to my challenges around this time related to my brain tumour, at times I struggled during my speech. Nevertheless, from the kindness and support of many amazing people, I felt very overwhelmed and grateful. The special community of the Inner West has been Katie and I’s home for over 25 years and we have made many wonderful connections with people in and around our community! #Brainstorm #glioblastoma @MayorDarcy @IWCouncil @AllenAndUnwin @gmaddox @SydneyLHD @NthSydHealth @COBLH @Sydney_Uni

USCAP was saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. Christopher D.M. Fletcher. Dr. Fletcher was an exceptional and innovative pathologist who dedicated many years in service to USCAP, including serving as President. He will be missed both personally and professionally.

4 the young #pathologists here, who may not know: angiomyofibroblastoma, retiform hemangioendothelioma, spindle cell liposarcoma, cellular angiofibroma, soft tissue angiofibroma, etc were among many entities recognized & described by Dr. Fletcher (& trainees) Give him a shoutout the next time you diagnose one of these 🔬May he RIP🤍
What horrible news. What a huge loss to the #pathology community. 💔 Chris Fletcher was and will always be among the most brilliant, visionary and influential pathologists of all time. May his incredible legacy live long through his trainees and students. thepathologist.com/outside-t…
