Pride is now used as a corporate business model. They sell products to people participating in Pride. Normal gay people increasingly want nothing to do with Pride. It's only the "queer" they/thems who are participating and generating revenue for these corporations. That is why Pride no longer cares about actual gay people, because we are no longer their target market.
