“76% of doctors were able to return to practice within 12m” Whether person centred or system focused this vital service cannot be delayed any further. Achieving equality matters for NI NHS in more ways than one.

Dr Robby is an example of a career with no healthy work life balance. What we see is real-time deterioration of a person who did not realize this early in his career. Joy is what we should emulate in our career aspirations. Work life balance is imperative.

This might be the most powerful scene of the season, because it reflects a hard truth. Too many physicians carry a “superhuman” mindset and delay seeking help until it’s too late.
To every healthcare worker, if you are struggling, physically or mentally, acknowledge it and seek help.
Just like the pre flight instruction, you put your oxygen mask on first before helping others. Not out of selfishness, but because you cannot care for anyone if you are not okay yourself.
Your health matters too.
