My daughter, who just turned 40 and is the mother of five under the age of 15, is a neonatal nurse in Jerusalem. When tensions with Iran heightened, the neonatal unit where she works was ordered by the IDF Home Command to move all the infants and equipment to a secure underground facility. Their work under such conditions is arduous. For the record many, perhaps most, of the newborns are Palestinian Arabs. Thatās Israel. My daughter and her colleagues are true heroines.
