“Revelation, belonging, and moral framing explain much of antisemitism’s appeal and durability. They are pleasures that can disguise themselves as insight, solidarity, and justice. Each has a cover story. Together, they remove the ordinary societal restraints on cruelty.”
The antisemitism isn't the real balckpill for me, but how void of a soul the average person is. That the average person will engage in gratuitous cruelty, just so long as there is no threat of social consequence.

When I heard in Jan. 4, 2023 the proposal of the judicial overhaul, I thought: this is madness. Because what Yariv Levin, the Minister of Justice, proposed, was the most extreme package of reforms ever proposed. Gabriel Moked survived the Warsaw Ghetto, transformed Israeli literature, and never stopped fighting for what he believed was true. Even at 92, he was planning one last manifesto. A beautiful remembrance of a singular life. tabletmag.com/sections/arts-…
