Its official. The Pixel Pump 2 is coming πŸ”₯ Will do a proper introduction video soon but here's a few interesting specs 🧡 (It's a tool for PCB hand assembly)

This is by the way the first software product I shipped without writing a single line of code by hand. It's not "vibe coded". I spent a lot of time planning and thinking myself. I was the director and product owner and I love my new role. I love focusing on what exactly I want rather then looking up the implementation details for a react native modal for the 12th time. The backend was done with @laravel and especially Laravel Boost is invaluable for the modern agentic workflow. No idea why anyone would ship a backend for such an app by using anything else.
We've created an app called Bumi 🐘 You can generate and print coloring pages with it. 🎨 We made this app for our son who always preferred a screw driver over a pencil. To get him to start drawing I generated images of his favorite tech toys. Now he is drawing almost daily πŸ˜πŸ‘Œ If you have kids please try the app. πŸ‘ Appreciate your feedback and RT! Roast me πŸ‘Š

I've been using it for a few months now and our kids love it! Definitely worth checking out.

Rental car in Palma de Mallorca for a week: 179€ Add two booster seats for the kids: 210€ extra. Why are we building products when we could simply lend child seats instead πŸ€‘ (One such seat will cost you 35€ new btw)

If you need a really good jig to solder stuff consider a machine vise and a stick vise combined. This is really good!

Best helping hands for soldering I ever had I’m not even kidding. Especially for repetitive jobs. Have to solder 120 connectors. The spring loaded stick wise is perfect for this. Especially on this machine vise which is super heavy and will not move.

I’m hiring a Principal Security Engineer in Berlin. Come work with me and my team on a complex product: a remote driving system. Huge plus if you have experience with robotics or automotive products. Link in the comment.

I sure hope one day we'll have our favorite frontier models running locally with a high TPS rate. Would pay the same tbh. Just want things local and fast.

Is this rage bait?

had my apps first major security issue today πŸ™€ if you intercepted my app's call to anthropic, my api key became exposed so like if some guy that hated me wanted to soft hack my app, they could steal my api key to anthropic but like normal people would never have noticed this because its like just there to be seen on the ios app itself lesson learned: make sure the calls to apis are routed through backend supabase secrets rather than directly from the app ultimately, i had hard limits and monitors on the api key itself so no real danger was presented, but thank god someone pointed it out to me (even tho he did it to prove vibecoders suck at security or whatever)

"The more notifications they see, the more they get reminded that they have a subscription and might cancel it." I'm just starting with apps but I do not want to figure out how I can sneak into peoples credit cards and just get paid because they forgot me. I would love to build something people are happy to actively pay for.

What a hire. 😁
Personal update: I've joined Anthropic. I think the next few years at the frontier of LLMs will be especially formative. I am very excited to join the team here and get back to R&D. I remain deeply passionate about education and plan to resume my work on it in time.

Vibe coded a robot lawn mower zen garden. 🧘 - physics (mower is actually driving with friction on its wheels) - grass is growing (and affected by the mower and wind) - battery is draining - fence wiring is fully simulated A few more details πŸ‘‡

The mower and the charging dock are made in meshy and moddeled from a single reference image each. I then used the Blender MCP to isolate the wheels so they can be rotated in code. The models itself are a mess as you would expect from AI generated 3D assets but they are good enough for this.
