2012: @Dodgers hire Stan Kasten who, to paraphrase, wanted to “keep the Dodgers competitive in the short term while putting into place a system which would keep the Dodgers at the top of the league not just for a year or two, but for years to come”.

The @Dodgers took a big swing and a big miss with @stephen_nelson. Joe “hold on to the last letter for a bittttt” Davis is marginally better but you can feel their loyalties to LA are marginal at best. Here Nelson is marveling at a Matt Chapman play with a homer ish “oh baby”.

It is way too easy for @joe_davis and @StephenNelson to put aside @Dodgers loyalty while doing National games. You can feel Nelson’s excitement when Tanner Scott blows yet another save. Davis is the same way. Both of them can take their jaded loyalty to another team.
