All elite hitters have one common trait, the chin stays quiet and goes shoulder to shoulder. What do you see when you watch this video? #hitters #BaseBall

Had an awesome time training at Driveline the last month ending with PRs of 99mph exit velocity and 392ft of max distance. Excited for the year ahead!

To Rotate or To Tilt 📝 📝 Rotating around a spinal axis can feel very powerful. BUT it’s sluggish. The barrel doesn’t get up to speed until late. ❌ Tilt provides the direction and quickness early which leads to consistent power numbers. ✅ At Launch, you can see Judge’s head like a statue while the torso works more North/South (tilt) Why isn’t it Rotation? Barrel Path 👀 Rear Leg 👀 ✅ Watch the barrel path. It works like a clock. Starts at 12 and works down the back. Then contact at 6 o’clock and Out from. ✅ Watch the rear leg Pivot and provide the shift AT launch. ❌ Rotation creates a drag, then speed around and out front. Limits direction. Decreases your time. #gritnj

🧵1/5 #MattBrash fWAR: 0.9 ( 0.7 above expectation) He's also cracked the top 5 among relievers in a range of metrics: K-BB% (32%, 3rd) xFIP (2.23, 3rd) FIP (1.75, 4th) Called Swinging Strike Rate (37%, 5th)
As we hit the 60-game milestone (a full season not too long ago), let's celebrate standout @DrivelineBB pitchers exceeding expectations (pre-season projections) to date. Gonna drop a couple of pitcher profiles each day. Curious about metrics discussed? Dive in below 🔽

"My follow through is up. I was taught to keep the bat in zone as long as I can & that's what I try to do. The longer it's in the zone the better chance you have of making contact." Ken Griffey Jr #TalkinBaseball

Volume 🆙 “Swing the knob” is NOT “Knob to Ball” Knob to the ball will also get the barrel in/out of the zone. BUT, ‘Lasering the knob’ UP will get the barrel to replace. #gritnj

“I believe my routine. Every day I do the same thing. To any kids out there, I hit off the tee every day. Yeah it’s boring, yeah it’s repetitious but it lets me find my swing & where I need to be every day.” Michael Brantley #TalkinBaseball

Thank you.
Tony Dungy, the Hall of Fame NFL coach who spoke at the March for Life rally yesterday is being attacked by left wing extremists over his pro-life Christian views. Dungy has 3 biological children and 8 adopted children. Retweet to show your support to this great man!

Breaking ball homeruns 🧠📝 • Behind Judge, Machado hit the most HR’s vs breaking balls in 2022 • Keeping everything back until it’s time to adjust out front
