Edward Mann was a millinery brand that produced high fashion hats. The factory was in 137-141 Stoke Newington Church St, where Nando’s is now (the original factory building was demolished). Edward Mann Designed the hats for iconic 60s television character Emma Peel of The Avengers.

Up for rent, the 2019 Canó Lasso designed ex Second Home London Fields. Before that it had been The Trampery & Look Mum No Hands, before that, educational purposes for decades (inc Hackney Community College) and behind, there is still the 1879 Morley Hall. #architecture #hackney

Controversial Liverpool Street station redevelopment dropped in favour of new design
Plans to smother Liverpool Street station in a massive blob have been scrapped, and an alternative redevelopment plan that will preserve much of the existing station building has been shown off.
