#ICYMI, the #WashUMed community recently came together to honor the legacy of the Nash family. Siblings Helen Nash, MD, and Homer Nash Jr., MD, defined pediatric care in St. Louis, fighting for children who lacked access to basic care.

Attended a program at the Equal Justice Institute in Montgomery, Alabama, headed by Bryan Stevenson. Bryan oversaw several panels, this one with Dr. Luckson Dullie and Dr. Patrick Ulysse, both of Partners in Health. The Legacy Museum and Anti-Lynching Memorial are a must-see!

A momentous occasion as CreveCoeur corrects a historic injustice and rededicates the Dr. Howard P. Venable Park. Washington University was proud to be there to celebrate the life of a civil rights pioneer and great man. Let’s know our history. stltoday.com/news/subscriber…
