Captain Ibrahim Traoré has acquired over 1,000 motor graders and various other vehicles to support road construction efforts across Burkina Faso.
Yesterday, he officially handed the equipment over to the teams responsible for developing and maintaining the nationâs road infrastructure.
In his address, Traoré emphasized the urgent need for quality farm-to-market roads, highlighting that better roads will allow farmers to transport their produce to urban centers more efficiently and without spoilage.
This major investment in national development comes despite past accusations from General Langley, who alleged that TraorĂ© was misusing the countryâs gold reserves for personal benefit.
