You say that like it’s a bad thing? The doctrine that God and man are of the same kind literal spirit offspring of a loving Heavenly Father, with divine potential to become like Him is one of the most beautiful truths in scripture. It’s not a modern invention; it’s rampant through the Bible and Book of Mormon. The Bible teaches we are “the offspring of God” (Acts 17:29) and “children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ” (Romans 8:16-17). Psalm 82:6 declares, “Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High,” which the Savior Himself quoted in John 10:34. The Book of Mormon echoes this call to divine potential: “Therefore I would that ye should be perfect even as I, or your Father who is in heaven is perfect” (3 Nephi 12:48). I have never felt the need to denigrate the beliefs of other people’s faiths to strengthen mine. If different doctrinal beliefs are the determining factor, the list would be determined subjectively by the person who wrote the list. By believing in a restored church with an open canon of scripture and a living prophet and apostles, we do break from traditional Christian theology. We reject the idea that revelation ended centuries ago and instead embrace the same pattern God has always used; ongoing guidance through prophets, just as in biblical times. This allows the Lord to speak to us today with clarity and power. What a glorious plan of happiness! The Senate just betrayed America again, not passing the SAVE America Act to protect noncitizen voting over citizens’ rights and refusing to restore minimum integrity to our elections. There are 2 peaceful ways to fix this and restore power to “We the People”: 1. Vote out the Republicans who refused to support the SAVE America Act and win key Democrat races to elect a Senate that actually answers to American voters. This is harder to do with rigged elections in states like CA. 2. Get 14 more states to pass Convention of States legislation. Then, through an Article V Constitutional Convention, the states can then impose term limits, a balanced budget amendment, require U.S. citizenship for Congress, end the ridiculous 60-vote filibuster that stops real legislating by majority vote, slash lavish taxpayer-funded perks, and ban insider trading by legislators. Congress must answer to “We the People”, not hide behind rules enabling corrupt elections that violate the law. 🚨California’s water crisis is a man-made warning Utah must NOT ignore. CA flushes 50% of its water to the ocean for “environmental” reasons like saving delta smelt, which is just the party line to cover for the fact that CA refused to invest in water infrastructure. Billions was collected for reservoirs not built and the CA Coastal Commission killed all water desal plant projects. Extreme policies under Newsom turned dry years into disasters, exactly what happens when you divert water 💰 elsewhere and prioritize 🐟 over citizens. Only 10% of the total water use is its citizens, yet that was where all the regulations focused. CA chose to make citizens lives miserable rather than build the infrastructure needed.
