RAMADAN 1447 AH | 2026 — A Message to Our Rohingya Nation To our beloved Rohingya brothers and sisters in the camps of Cox’s Bazar, in the villages of Arakan, and across every land where exile has taken us, Ramadan 1447 Hijri has arrived once again. The crescent moon rises over bamboo shelters, over the Naf River, over the hills of our homeland, and over distant cities where our people struggle to rebuild their lives. It rises above mothers who prepare suhoor with limited food, above fathers who carry silent burdens of protection and dignity, and above children who have learned survival before comfort. Yet despite everything, we remain. We are a people living in displacement, but we are not a people without identity. We are a nation that has faced erasure, yet we still stand. Our villages were burned, our citizenship denied, our names questioned, but our faith was not taken. Our history was attacked, but it was not erased. Our hope was tested, but it was not destroyed. Ramadan comes to remind us that endurance is not weakness; it is strength refined. Fasting is not surrender; it is discipline. Patience is not passivity; it is controlled power. This sacred month teaches us that no oppression is permanent and no tyrant is eternal. The crescent moon may appear thin and fragile, yet from that small beginning grows a full and radiant light. So too is our condition. We may seem scattered, displaced, and marginalized, but within us lives a people forged by hardship and strengthened by faith. Our struggle has not broken us; it has shaped us. To the youth, do not allow exile to define you; let it refine you. To the elders, your steadfastness is the foundation upon which our future stands. To the mothers, your du‘a in the darkness of the night carries power beyond measure. To the fathers, your quiet sacrifices are recorded and honored. Resistance is not only found in confrontation; resistance is preserving our identity, teaching our children who they are, protecting our unity, and refusing to disappear. Resistance is keeping Arakan alive in our hearts until it lives again in dignity and peace. Ramadan is a training ground for resilience. Hunger strengthens the will, restraint builds discipline, and faith builds nations. This month calls us to purify our hearts from division, to strengthen our unity, and to renew our commitment to justice without losing compassion. We prepare ourselves spiritually and morally because a people grounded in faith cannot be erased from history. Let this Ramadan 1447 AH be a Ramadan of renewal. Let it be the month where despair is replaced with certainty, where fear is replaced with courage, and where division is replaced with brotherhood. We pray that Allah accepts your fasting, your prayers, your tears, and your endurance. We pray He protects our people in the camps and in Arakan, grants safety to our families, restores dignity to our nation, and opens the path toward a future of justice and peace. Ramadan Mubarak. May this be the Ramadan of steadfast hearts, unbroken identity, and unwavering hope for the Rohingya nation. With love, faith, and enduring solidarity, Rohingya Solidarity Organization (RSO)

Heartbreaking Tragedy: The Murder of Little Alham With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, the Rohingya Solidarity Organization (RSO) extends its sincerest condolences to the grieving family of 5-year-old Alham from Balukhali 01, Camp-09, Block B-8. Ten days ago, young Alham was snatched from his family. Heartless kidnappers later demanded 10 lakh BDT in ransom. In their desperate attempt to bring him home safely, the family paid nearly 4 lakh BDT only to face continued threats. Tragically, Alham never returned. His body was later discovered near the border in a severely decomposed state. This brutal crime has devastated the entire Rohingya community and left us all in mourning. We are deeply alarmed by the rising threats to the safety and security of Rohingya refugees, particularly our innocent children, within the camps. Such horrific incidents expose the urgent need for stronger child protection systems, enhanced security measures, and greater community awareness to prevent these tragedies from repeating. In full respect to the Government of Bangladesh, we strongly call upon the relevant authorities to launch a comprehensive, coordinated joint investigation involving all concerned agencies. We demand that the perpetrators, their accomplices, and all those responsible for this heinous act be swiftly apprehended, held fully accountable, and brought to justice in the strongest possible manner. Alham’s innocent blood must not be forgotten. Justice for him is justice for every Rohingya child. May Allah grant patience, strength, and solace upon his bereaved family. Restrictions on the Islamic Call to Prayer in Booyi Taung Township Raise Concerns Over Religious Freedom In June 2026, the Narco-Terrorist Arakan Army (AA) imposed an indefinite ban on the use of loudspeakers for the Islamic call to prayer (adhan) in Booyi Taung Township, Arakan State. According to residents, mosques that had previously been allowed to reopen with AA permission after years of conflict-related displacement were later informed that loudspeaker broadcasts of the call to prayer would no longer be permitted. AA officials trying to justify the measure by claiming the sound could be confused with aircraft noise. As a result, many mosques in Arakan have stopped using loudspeakers for the adhan, ending a daily religious observance that had continued even during difficult times. Local residents state that amplified religious activities at Buddhist monasteries in the same area have not been subjected to similar restrictions. This perceived inconsistency has once proven AA as anti- Rohingya Islamophobic terrorist organization For Rohingya Muslims this is as part of a broader pattern in which their religious practices, cultural traditions, and community life face increasing constraints under current AA control. The call to prayer lasts only a few minutes and has long been a normal, peaceful part of daily life in Muslim communities across the region and worlds. This development has renewed serious concerns among Rohingya communities that their religious practices are facing systematic restrictions under Arakan Army control. The ban on loudspeakers for the call to prayer follows a pattern of other measures affecting Rohingya residents, including movement restrictions and arbitrary detention and forced labor. Human Rights Watch has documented that in May 2024, Arakan Army fighters carried out a massacre of Rohingya civilians in Hoyyar Siri village, Buthidaung township, killing at least 170 people in what the organization concluded were war crimes. When combined with these earlier findings and ongoing restrictions on religious expression, many residents see a troubling pattern that contradicts public claims of equal treatment and inclusivity for all communities in Arakan State. @UN @OIC_OCI @CIJ_ICJ @hrw @arableague_gs @MWLOrg_en @ICRC @ifrc @IOMBangladesh @antonioguterres @QF @amnesty @UNHumanRights @HRF @UN_HRC @UNICEF @qcharityglobal @diyanetbasin @abimalaysia @ikrammalaysia @Kwt_awqafen @almajleskuwait @FortifyRights

27 Rohingya Buried in Kedah, Their Families Deserve More Than Grief The remains of 27 Rohingya (13 men and 14 women ) were finally laid to rest in Kedah, nearly a year after they lost their lives at sea. To every family still carrying this unbearable grief, we see you. We stand with you. These were not just numbers. They were mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters who left everything behind in the desperate hope of finding safety. Their journey ended in tragedy, but their memory must now fuel something greater than sorrow. This loss did not happen in isolation. It is the direct result of ongoing genocide in Arakan, the failure to create real protection, and the criminal networks that exploit our people’s desperation. We refuse to accept that more families must bury their loved ones this way. The Rohingya Solidarity Organisation calls for urgent, practical action: (A) A coordinated international effort to dismantle human trafficking networks through intelligence sharing, asset freezes, and prosecution of those who profit from our suffering. At the same time, safe and legal pathways must be opened so no Rohingya is forced to risk their life with smugglers again. (B) A realistic and dignified repatriation process to Arakan. This means full citizenship rights, guaranteed security, international monitoring on the ground, and properly supported return programmes where returnees can rebuild their lives with housing, livelihood support, and protection from persecution. We are demanding solutions that actually work, solutions that address the root causes instead of treating the symptoms. The 27 souls we buried yesterday deserve more than condolences. They deserve a future where no Rohingya mother has to choose between persecution at home and death at sea. Free Arakan. Safe return with dignity. An end to trafficking. #Rohingya #JusticeForRohingya #StopHumanTrafficking #RepatriationWithDignity #FreeArakan @UN @OIC_OCI @CIJ_ICJ @hrw @IOMBangladesh @antonioguterres @QF @amnesty @diyanetbasin @abimalaysia @ikrammalaysia @Kwt_awqafen @almajleskuwait @FortifyRights @TamimBinHamad @anwaribrahim @DrZahidHamidi @RTErdogan @Fahmi_Samsudin @MMuizzu @HRHMBNSALMAAN @ABZayed @JustinTrudeau @matthewfsmith @john_hq3 @AJEnglish @BBCWorld @bbcburmese @nytimes @cnni @DeutscheWelle @geonews_english @dawn_com @TVAlhijrah @liberal_party @UKParliament @HouseofCommons @ASEAN

With Hearts Full of Hope: RSO Thanks H.E. Hakan Fidan on Behalf of the Rohingya People On behalf of the Rohingya people living in the camps of Cox’s Bazar, the Rohingya Solidarity Organisation (RSO) expresses the deep emotions that filled our hearts today. When His Excellency Hakan Fidan, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Türkiye, walked through our camps, our children ran toward him with Turkish flags in their small hands, smiling with a joy we have not witnessed in many years. Our elders watched with tears in their eyes. In that moment, it felt as if a guardian had come to stand among his people. Today, our community is not only grateful, we are truly happy and excited. After years of pain, uncertainty, and displacement, the Rohingya people saw something precious: REAL-HOPE. This visit has made us more hopeful than ever that Türkiye will take a leading role, working together with Bangladesh, the Muslim world, and the international community, to bring a just and lasting solution to our crisis. For the first time in a long time, our people dare to believe that the day we return to our homeland in Arakan is no longer just a distant dream. The Rohingya people want the world to know: We are not forgotten. We still carry hope in our hearts. And we are ready to go home with dignity. RSO sincerely thanks the Government and people of Türkiye for this wonderful visit and for standing with the Rohingya in our time of need. On this blessed day of Eid al-Adha 1447 AH, the Rohingya Solidarity Organization (RSO) extends its warmest greetings and heartfelt solidarity to the entire Muslim Ummah, and especially to our resilient Rohingya brothers and sisters , in the refugee camps, in the diaspora, and those still enduring oppression in the homeland of Arakan. Eid al-Adha is the celebration of ultimate sacrifice and complete submission to the will of Allah. It reminds us of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) who was willing to sacrifice his most beloved son in obedience to his Lord. Allah replaced it with a ram and blessed him with honor that echoes through time. Today, the Rohingya people are living this spirit of sacrifice. For decades we have sacrificed our homes, our safety, our loved ones, and our comfort in the face of persecution and genocide. Yet like Prophet Ibrahim, our submission to Allah and our determination for justice remains unshaken. We are a people tested severely, exiled, displaced, and hunted , but never broken. Our sacrifices in the camps and inside Arakan are not in vain. Every tear, every prayer, and every act of patience brings us closer to the day of relief and victory. Let this Eid strengthen our resolve. Let the spirit of Qurbani inspire us to remain united, steadfast, and committed to our rightful return to Arakan with dignity, freedom, and full rights. RSO reaffirms its unwavering commitment to the Rohingya cause until every Rohingya child can celebrate Eid in the land of their ancestors. May Allah accept our sacrifices, grant us strength, and hasten the day of justice and return. Eid Mubarak!

RSO Firmly Rejects Arakan Army’s Cynical Disinformation Campaign Over the Ghumdhum Landmine Atrocity The Rohingya Solidarity Organization (RSO) categorically rejects and strongly condemns the statement released on 26 May 2026 by the United League of Arakan/Arakan Army (ULA/AA). In that document, the Arakan Army once again attempts to wash its hands of responsibility for the landmine explosion that killed three innocent Bangladeshi civilians on 24 May 2026 in the Ghumdhum border area of Naikhongchhari Township, Bandarban District, while they were working in a banana plantation near Tumbru Zero Point. Such denials are neither credible nor unfamiliar. For years, the narco-terrorist Arakan Army has perfected the art of disinformation, scapegoating, and deflection whenever its actions result in civilian bloodshed. This latest exercise in blame-shifting is simply the most recent chapter in a long and sordid pattern. The facts on the ground are unambiguous. The Arakan Army exercises dominant operational control over extensive stretches of the Bangladesh-Myanmar frontier opposite Bandarban, including critical corridors around Maungdaw and adjacent border zones. In these very areas, credible reporting from Bangladeshi authorities, local communities on both sides of the border, and independent observers has repeatedly documented the group’s systematic and deliberate deployment of landmines in civilian-populated zones. These indiscriminate devices have claimed the lives and limbs of Bangladeshi farmers, Border Guard Bangladesh personnel, and Rohingya civilians alike for years, a grim record of landmine terrorism that has turned frontier farmlands and forest paths into killing fields. This is compounded by the Arakan Army’s well-documented involvement in large-scale cross-border narcotics trafficking , particularly yaba and other methamphetamine derivatives, which international and Bangladeshi law enforcement sources have linked directly to the financing of its operations. A group that marries landmine warfare with narco-trafficking cannot credibly claim the mantle of victim or defender of civilians. The Arakan Army’s attempt to pin this atrocity on Rohingya Solidarity organization (RSO) is not only dishonest but transparently self-serving. The precise location of the 24 May explosion lies squarely within a zone of AA influence, where local Bangladeshi residents have long reported movement restrictions, armed patrols, and mine threats imposed by the group itself. The international community and the Government of Bangladesh have every reason to view these denials with the deepest skepticism. The Arakan Army carries an extensive international record of massacres, forced recruitment, torture, extortion, forced displacement, and systematic violence against the Rohingya population, atrocities thoroughly documented by respected human rights organizations. An armed actor with such a history cannot be permitted to whitewash its crimes or export its brand of terror across an international border. The RSO extends its profound condolences to the families of the three Bangladeshi nationals killed in this cowardly act and stands in full solidarity with the people of Bangladesh, who continue to bear the tragic consequences of the Arakan Army’s militarization of the border region. We urge the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, the international community, and competent counter-terrorism and humanitarian demining bodies to dismiss the Arakan Army’s propaganda, support a thorough independent investigation into the Ghumdhum incident, and take concrete steps to confront the growing menace of landmine contamination and narcoterrorism emanating from AA-controlled territory. The RSO remains resolute in exposing these realities and working alongside all responsible parties to restore peace and security to the borderlands. @BDMOFA @UN @OIC_OCI @CIJ_ICJ @hrw @arableague_gs @MWLOrg_en @ICRC @ifrc @IOMBangladesh @antonioguterres @QF @amnesty @UNHumanRights @HRF @UN_HRC @UNICEF @qcharityglobal @diyanetbasin @abimalaysia @ikrammalaysia @Kwt_awqafen @almajleskuwait @FortifyRights @TamimBinHamad @anwaribrahim @DrZahidHamidi @RTErdogan

@BDMOFA @liberal_party @UKParliament @HouseofCommons @ASEAN @MofaQatar_EN @KSAmofaEN @mofauae @MalaysiaMFA @MFATurkiye @Saudi_MoiaEN @ForeignOfficePk @MoFA_Indonesia @UKMissionGeneva @usmissiongeneva @swiss_un @SwissMFA @FCDOGovUK @DIRCO_ZA @MoFA_Afg @GhanaMFA @TC_BMCenevreDT @Saudi_MoiaEN @MyJAKIM @MoFAmv @GOV_BN @MofaJapan_en @dfat @MFAThai @IRIMFA_EN @MOFAKuwait

The Rohingya nation welcomes the groundbreaking Human Rights Watch report that has finally confirmed what we have been saying for over two and a half years: The Arakan Army’s deliberate massacre of unarmed Rohingya civilians in Hoyyar Siri (Htan Shauk Khan) on 2 May 2024 amounts to war crimes. HRW’s 56-page investigation documents the cold-blooded killing of more than 170 named victims , including at least 90 children , followed by the burning and looting of the entire village. This is not an isolated incident but part of the Arakan Army’s systematic campaign of ethnic cleansing against the Rohingya people. The report exposes the AA as a narco-terrorist force that continues to detain hundreds of survivors in inhumane conditions even today. For years the world ignored our warnings. Today, one of the most respected international organisations has validated the truth. The Rohingya Solidarity Organization (RSO) strongly condemns the misuse of its name by individuals involved in criminal activities, including kidnapping, extortion, trafficking, robbery, and drug-related crimes. RSO makes it clear that any person committing crimes under the false claim of organizational affiliation is acting entirely on their own and must be dealt with according to the law. We urge the public to remain alert, reject false claims, and immediately report such individuals to the appropriate law-enforcement authorities. @UN @OIC_OCI @CIJ_ICJ @hrw @arableague_gs @MWLOrg_en @ICRC @ifrc @IOMBangladesh @antonioguterres @QF @amnesty @UNHumanRights @HRF @UN_HRC @UNICEF @qcharityglobal

The Rohingya Solidarity Organization (RSO) hereby states clearly and officially that our organization had absolutely no involvement in the brutal killings of Abdul Halim, also known as Kefayet Ullah, leader of ARO, and Rustom Kamal, younger brother of Nabi Hussain, which took place inside the refugee camps on May 5 and May 6. RSO categorically rejects the false propaganda being circulated by certain individuals and groups with malicious intent. These claims are aimed at damaging the reputation of RSO, creating confusion among the Rohingya people, and deepening division within our already vulnerable community. At the same time, RSO expresses its deep sorrow over these brutal and merciless killings. We extend our sympathy to the victims’ families and call for truth, justice, and accountability through lawful and proper investigation. RSO has always stood for the rights, dignity, security, and legitimate struggle of the Rohingya people. Our position has always been clear: our struggle is against the greater enemy of the Rohingya people, those who have tortured, killed, oppressed, denied our fundamental rights, occupied our ancestral homeland, and forced our people to leave the land of our forefathers and seek refuge elsewhere. RSO is fundamentally opposed to violence among our own people. We reject internal conflict, revenge, intimidation, and any form of disorder inside the refugee camps. We have consistently respected the sovereignty of Bangladesh and have always worked to maintain peace, discipline, and stability within the camps. Bangladeshi intelligence, law-enforcement, and security agencies are actively present and operating inside the refugee camps. RSO highly respects the authorities of Bangladesh, the laws of the host country, and the responsibility of the relevant law-enforcement Forces. We firmly believe that authorities will conduct a swift, thorough, and transparent investigation into these killings, identify the individuals and parties responsible, and bring them to justice in accordance with the law. As per the information currently known to RSO, the killing of Rustom Kamal, younger brother of Nabi Hussain, appears to be connected to internal conflict within their own circle. However, RSO respects the rule of law and does not seek to replace the role of the lawful authorities. We firmly believe that a proper investigation by the relevant Bangladeshi agencies will clarify the real motive, identify the responsible individuals, and expose any party attempting to exploit this incident for propaganda or public confusion. We also strongly urge that the investigation be carried out properly, without bias or political pressure, and that every person or party involved in these crimes be held fully accountable under the law. Until the actual perpetrators and responsible parties are clearly and transparently identified, RSO calls upon the public to remain calm, patient, and responsible. No individual, group, or organization should be blamed or condemned based on rumors, assumptions, hearsay, personal hostility, or provocative social-media propaganda spread by individuals with hidden motives. The accusations and defamatory claims directed against RSO are completely false and baseless. Killing, terrorism, and unlawful violence are totally against RSO’s principles, policies, and long-standing position. Such acts have never been part of our organization and have no place in our struggle. RSO is a long-established Rohingya organization that works for the rights, dignity, security, and future of the Rohingya people. It is an organized and capable political force committed to the Rohingya cause. At the same time, RSO has always respected the laws of Bangladesh and has consistently avoided any action that would violate the law or disturb public order inside the host country. Furthermore, RSO operates under the guidance of an experienced Advisory Board composed of qualified and responsible individuals. This Advisory Board continuously monitors important organizational matters and provides necessary guidance to ensure that RSO’s activities remain disciplined, responsible, and aligned with the broader interests of the Rohingya people. Since many members of the public are already aware of the broader circumstances surrounding these acts of brutality, we strongly caution against reckless behavior, intimidation of ordinary people, or the spreading of propaganda intended to create fear, panic, and confusion inside the camps. RSO calls on all Rohingya people, community leaders, media voices, and concerned individuals to act with patience, discipline, and responsibility. These tragic killings must not be exploited to divide the Rohingya community or to mislead the public through false accusations. RSO remains fully committed to peace inside the refugee camps, respect for the sovereignty and laws of Bangladesh, and justice for all victims of violence.
