Michigan beer on a hot day. What’s better? Eliminate the state income tax that hits small businesses big time. Do that and Michigan micro-brewers grow & become big employers!

Transformational or transactional? Gov Gretchen Whitmer supported & publicly designated over $4.2B in spending on economic development subsidies as “transformational”. Much of this state spending overpromised & underdelivered on job creation with little or no transparency⁉️

If I don’t balance my household budget, I could lose my home. If a business doesn’t balance its books, it can go bankrupt. So why does Congress keep spending money it doesn’t have and passing the bill to future generations?

Socialist El-Sayed wants data centers government-owned and operated. Throttling, blocking, censorship, and surveillance become a whole lot easier when the state owns the servers and the infrastructure.

One of the most important responsibilities of government is protecting those who are most vulnerable. Unfortunately, scammers are becoming more sophisticated every year, targeting seniors with schemes designed to steal their savings and exploit their trust. As Attorney General, I made protecting Michigan seniors a priority. We cracked down on scams, held bad actors accountable, and worked to ensure seniors had the information and resources they needed to protect themselves. Michigan seniors spent a lifetime building their futures, and they deserve leaders who will fight just as hard to protect them.

The short answer to this question is: Yes. I was appointed to serve on the CMU Board. The challenges & opportunities we tackled were nonpartisan in nature. Governance of our state universities shouldn’t be a partisan political football‼️
Should Michigan governor appoint university boards? It could backfire, some say bit.ly/4olOPkT

Michigan taxpayers were told that if we increased education spending by 31% and subsidized universal school meals—even in wealthy districts—we would see a return on our investment. Yet Michigan has declined to 42nd in the nation for education, and three-quarters of fourth graders are not reading at grade level. The lefties in Lansing didn’t understand the assignment.

Another city council doing nonsensical things to virtue signal, instead of doing the people’s business. It is not the “polyamorous” who need protection, it is the taxpayers of Hazel Park who need to be protected from the foolishness of their City Council. Michigan taxpayers deserve better than a government that allows fraud to spiral out of control. Under @GovWhitmer , welfare fraud more than doubled in 2024 while state spending continued to grow. Every dollar lost to fraud is money taken from hardworking taxpayers and diverted away from the people and programs it was meant to serve. The answer isn't more spending. It's accountability, transparency, and a government that treats taxpayer dollars like they're worth protecting.
