Armed Services Dems I talked to after the markup said they couldn’t vote for a defense bill with a $1T price tag and no guardrails on Iran.
This is probably the most partisan vote I’ve seen since 2019, when nearly all HASC Republicans opposed a Dem-led NDAA.
Breaking: HASC votes the NDAA to the House floor, 44-12. Despite being a wide bipartisan vote, that’s a large number of Democratic no votes. (Usually it’s only one or two.)
