DTW is the best airport in America. No one can convince me otherwise. Easy to navigate. Just parked and got through security in 6 minutes. Ton of places to sit and avoid crowds - a very important thing, btw. Just always delivers.

The TSA crew at DTW are champs. I fly out of there almost weekly and they are efficient and friendly- there was no difference between their attitudes this morning and before they weren’t paid.
If you are flying, give them a gas gift card. If you can’t, a smile and thank you go a long way
While ICE agents have been deployed to help TSA workers at some airports across the country, that's not the case at Detroit Metro. At least for now.
