I’d give a million dollars divided out to:
- regional RUBY conferences, outside of US
- organisations such as RailsGirls, WomenWhoCode, etc.
- organisations such as GoRails
- start an apprenticeship program to train juniors and pay for their placement at companies

I’d use data from the apprenticeship program to find holes in how people learn Rails and then ask volunteers to help come fix them up. If they’re writing guides, I’d pay them from the fund at a per-published-word rate ($2-3 a word)
