Basehor-Linwood (12-0) punches its ticket to the 5A state championship game for the first time in program history with a 28-20 win over St. James Academy. Incredible work by Rod Stallbaumer, one of the most consistent coaches in Kansas. The Bobcats have proved EVERYONE wrong, and so has Salina Central, setting up a huge 5A showdown in Emporia. For the first time since 2013 (Blue Valley), the 5A East representative won’t be Mill Valley or Aquinas in the title game. 🤯 Absolutely incredible run and its not over. #sportsinkansas
