I introduced legislation to address meth addiction, for which there’s no medical treatment.
SB 888 legalizes Medi-Cal coverage for “contingency management” - $ incentives to stay in meth recovery.

Supervisor, leaving SFMTA with a budget deficit also doesn't help grow ridership. Why not also urge them to increasing parking meter rates (which aren't pegged to inflation) and meter hours to offset the lost revenue?

My latest: San Francisco this spring will be home to the country’s first-ever meth sobering center. The 15-bed facility will open on a city-owned parking lot at Turk and Jones Streets and will have a driver and van to pick up anyone spotted high on meth. sfchronicle.com/bayarea/heat…
