Dear Ondo Youth in Agriculture information reaching me now is that the Federal Government and IFAD will train and empower 14,800 Ondo youths in the business of agriculture very soon. The programme is tagged IFAD/FG/Livelihood Improvement Family Enterprise-Niger Delta Project, will take place in 100 communities in the 10 local government areas of the state and will be trained and empowered in cocoa, cassava, fishery and poultry production. The coordinator of the project said the local governments where the programme would be taking place to include Akure North, Ondo East, Ile-Oluji/Oke Igbo and Akoko South-West, Owo, Irele, Ilaje, Idanre, Ese-Odo, and Akoko North-West.
