Distributed solar CAN be cheaper than utility scale, especially if you count T&D costs.
Homes already have an interconnection, structure, etc.
Most of the world can do distributed solar for <$1/W, and in many cases <$0.5/W.

This is an interesting idea: rooftop solar can free up space on the grid for things like AI (or EVs and heat pumps while were are here). It completely undercuts the anti-rooftop disinformation campaign that the utilities have been waging for years. fastcompany.com/91409132/why…
