Every story is different. Follow @StopTheClot (National Blood Clot Alliance) for some great resources abd awareness. It can help save you (or a loved one’s) life!
🏃 Sage Canaday is a professional ultramarathon runner who spent 5 weeks being treated for pneumonia. It was a bilateral PE — clots in both lungs. Unprovoked. No warning signs. He started coughing up blood before anyone caught it. Six years out, he’s still running. Want to listen to Sage tell his story? 👉 linktw.in/dEZKFq You can also read it on our website 👉 stoptheclot.org/patient-stor… @SageCanaday #stoptheclot #menshealthmonth

🏃 Colin is running the 2026 NYC Marathon for his sister Lily — who survived two strokes, brain drainage surgery, and a permanent shunt from a CVST at 25 years old. 💙 “The reality is, you would never know what happened if you looked at her.” Lily is working full-time, back at the gym, and living her life. Colin is running 26.2 miles to make sure her story — and the truth about blood clots — reaches as many people as possible. ❤️ Support his run: 🔗 bit.ly/Colin-TeamStopTheClot #TeamStopTheClot #TCSNYCMarathon #StopTheClot #CVST #BloodClotAwareness

💪 "Tough it out." It's a phrase many men have heard — or said. But with a blood clot, toughing it out can cost you your life. DVT pain is often mistaken for a pulled muscle. A PE is often dismissed as anxiety or asthma. By the time symptoms are impossible to ignore, it can already be critical. ⚠️ Know the signs: 🦵 DVT: swelling, pain, warmth, or redness in the leg 🫁 PE: sudden shortness of breath or chest pain Don't wait. Get checked. Share this with the men in your life. 🩸 stoptheclot.org (link in bio) #MensHealthMonth #StopTheClot #DVT #PulmonaryEmbolism #KnowYourRisk #MensHealth

Honored to help coach-guide inspiring athletes like Carson for the NYC Marathon this year with team @StopTheClot ! We’ve got an amazing group of runners 🙌
Meet Carson Gunter — a Team Stop the Clot® Runner taking on the 2026 NYC Marathon with serious heart. ❤️🏃 Carson started running in 6th grade, ran his first full marathon his senior year, and never looked back. Last year he ran the Chicago Marathon in honor of his late Uncle Steve — and this year, he's lacing up again for his Uncle Jimmy, a blood clot survivor who inspires him every single day. 💪 ”My Uncle Jimmy has survived a few health issues including a blood clot. He inspires me everyday to keep on pushing and to never give up! I want to run this race for him.” Carson's goal is to raise $5,000–$10,000 for NBCA. Every dollar helps raise awareness, advance education, and fund life-saving patient programs. Show Carson some love and help him cross that finish line — donate to his NBCA fundraiser today. 🎽🗽 🔗bit.ly/Carson-TeamStopTheClo… #StopTheClot #TeamStopTheClot #NYCMarathon #NYCMarathon2026 #BloodClotAwareness #RunForAReason #NationalBloodClotAlliance #NBCA #MarathonRunning #RunnerSpotlight

😂😂. Honestly (besides feeling very nauseous near the end)….I had no GI issues during the Taco Bell 50km. I actually ran a pretty steady 50km Long run the next day
Oh how this made me chuckle! 🤣🤣 cc @SageCanaday

Some of my thoughts on how to move forward with doping issues in marathon and ultra running and ramifications for standing up for clean sport and integrity, while recognizing that the "big stake holders" have more to lose/gain in running youtu.be/TrCQv9JAbOE?si=l996…

I may be a little bit biased here (and now Fleetwood Mac is on repeat in my head 🎶)...but @SeriousRunner pretty much hits the nail on the head here imo: youtube.com/watch?v=E6oSNYqQ… 😂

I talk about possible solutions and ideas for preserving #cleansport and fair play in running races while not trying to be too exclusive to all levels and ages of runners in this podcast episode with @JeffGarmire on his podcast: youtu.be/q4HGWVwZwfY?si=m-OP…

Yes, if you look at Cam Hane’s recent instagram stories he just wrote some things that are totally untrue about me and flat out lies. Libel.

What a joke! But also remember this guy was already busted in real competition too.. PEDs work…but they can only work so much & for elites the margins are thin. Plus the “enhanced games” follows FDA approved protocol…Dopers in the real world take non-FDA approved drugs too
"Almost". Hilarious. 0.06s slower than Oblique Seville, who came 8th in the Paris Olympic final! But hey, he made big money, so he's laughing too. Meanwhile, in 3rd, at 10.39 (ALMOST breaking the U14 World Record!), Bracy earned $75,000. Grifters sticking to the story, though

I mean performance enhancing drugs can only take one so far 😅… (especially in a more technique based sport)
This is because no top 2% athlete would openly compete in the "enhanced games." I would not have as a high school varsity man, trying for maaaybe D2. This is their Achilles' heel and we all know it.

I actually do agree with this take.
The Enhanced Games are just a ploy to sell peptides to stupid people by a couple of billionaires using a bunch of JV athletes who never came to terms with their own mediocrity. It is going to be a colossal failure; I can't wait.

Woke up to a comment from an IG user wishing I “fell off a cliff”. You want to talk about “toxicity in the running community”?….look no further from the death threats I get for speaking up about clean sport and anti-doping 😅…

This is why track and is so ridiculous and strict and formal and (imo) off putting (getting a DQ for raising a flat hand??)….you should see how ultra-trail runners celebrate when crossing the finish line 😂🙌
In the greater scheme of "unsportsmanlike conduct", you'll have to explain what that hand signal meant that resulted in the disqualification.

Yes. But you guys also could have reached out and asked me for a quote/input/more context instead just literally repurposing/reposting my personal social media post 🤣

Hey Sydney Australia Runners! I'm hoping to join the "Sydney Harbour Runners" on Tues May 12th for their 6pm at the Cockle Bay Wharf Bird Fountain in Darling Harbour (Sydney CBD) for a low-key run if that's a good group to join (and it's possible for me!)? Hope to see you there!

Um, they should/could be Summer Olympic sports?
The IOC has confirmed that disciplines like trail running, cross-country running, cyclocross, and gravel cycling will not be added to the 2030 Winter Games in the French Alps, but stopped short of closing the door permanently on so-called “crossover” sports at future Winter Games. ❄️ 🏔️ IOC president Kirsty Coventry was clear about 2030 and said, “No summer sport and no all-season sport will be included. It will only be snow and ice.” However, Coventry suggested the 2034 Salt Lake City Games could potentially open the door to innovative non-traditional disciplines and added that the IOC needs to “figure out how we want potentially new sports, innovative sports and disciplines to come onto the programme.”
