Inside the Palace of Fruit in #Penngrove that burned Saturday when a car fleeing police crashed into it. Owner Ken Ebertus plans to rebuild and keep it alive, 62 years strong. Folks in southern #SonomaCounty know how special this store is. It’s a bummer to see it this way.

Something that should shock no one, Russian hackers are selling voter registration DBs on the darkweb. At least MI, FL, NC, CT & AR so far. It should be noted all major political campaigns already have all of this data & its fairly easy to acquire it. meduza.io/amp/en/feature/202…

The ballots should be counted at the precinct. Certified by all parties and by non-partisan observers. The totals posted on the door of the voting place and widely shared. Then, and only then, should the ballots and totals move to the county level to be confirmed and reported.

The only way to confirm that each ballot was cast by a human is to vote at your precinct, and to count votes publicly, by hand. Old school. Mail-in ballots should be counted at the precinct withresults written on the wall before precinct results are reported to the state.

This. ⬇️ Also, if vote centers are set up so that anyone in the county can vote there (eg, LA County), the centers must use e-pollbooks to confirm registrations & that voters haven’t already voted. E-pollbooks usually use WiFi or Bluetooth. Backup paper pollbooks are impossible.

I will say it again ... there is something to not over-treating the fever and letting the T-cells do their work efficiently. Lots of anecdotal evidence that people with the highest and strongest fevers fare better in the long run #covid19 #coronavirus
