I am thrilled to announce I have joined the Detroit Lions as a Legal Extern this semester and will join them as a Football Administration Associate upon graduating! This opportunity is truly a blessing from God and I would not be here without Him. Let’s get to work #OnePride

I was gonna get on here and tweet about hard work, but all I can really say is that Jesus Christ has been good to me. He has sustained me in every season.

The real duo in Dallas is Quinnen Williams and Osa Odighizuwa. Clark was supposed to be a big part of the parsons trade, but Williams will want to be extended after 2026, Clark is getting older, and not sure how you work in all 3. Just make the Micah deal look worse for DAL
Man idk. Broncos (Zach Allen and D.J. Jones), Colts (Grover Stewart and DeFo Buckner), Patriots (Christian Barmore and Milton Williams), Eagles (Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis) and Titans (Jeffery Simmons and T'Vondre Sweat) all up there. Clark film this year...not amazing!

Jacoby Brissett also signed a two yr deal. High end backups should sign one year deals unless the two years are fully guaranteed. That doesn’t stop SF or AZ from extending either player, but I’m sure both guys would like to be free agents after this year with how they’re playing
I just realized Mac Jones signed a two-year deal. I was mistakenly under the assumption that he signed a one-year deal this past offseason. He could still be extended (as a backup), but I'm sure right about now he's wishing he didn't give up a second year of team control.

The 2027 class includes prospects like Jeremiah Smith, Dylan Stewart, Collin Simmons, and a handful of intriguing QB options. Three first rounders in that class could be franchise-altering.
#Jets future draft picks include: - 2026 1st - 2026 1st (via Colts) - 2026 2nd - 2026 2nd (via Cowboys) - 2027 1st - 2027 1st (via Colts) - 2027 1st (via Cowboys)

Williams is under contract for the next two years at 47.25M total. Williams is just 27 years old at a premium position that has generally aged well.

Blockbuster: The #Cowboys are trading for #Jets Pro Bowl DT Quinnen Williams, sending a first-round pick and more to NYJ, per The Insiders. A new home for one of the NFL’s best to team that values interior DLs, as NYJ builds for the future.

The first rounder being a 2027 pick makes me question the valuation difference between Sauce and Williams even more. We’ll see if the Jets can spark Mazi’s career, but not getting a 2026 1st for a player like Williams is tough to stomach for the jets imo.
The final deal: Jets get: 2026 2nd-round pick, 2027 1st-round pick and DT Mazi Smith Cowboys get: DT Quinnen Williams

With that said, the 2027 class is shaping up to have more blue chip type talent than the 2026 class, but it’s tough to evaluate the 2027 top talent this far out.

The Jags overpaid a bit for Meyers, which set the market for this deal. SEA has to feel somewhat confident that Shaheed can become at least a 4th rnd comp pick if he isn’t retained. Shaheed should see a boost in his value/production in a contract yr given how Darnold is playing.
Trade compensation: Seahawks are sending 2026 fourth- and fifth-round picks to the Saints in exchange for WR Rashid Shaheed.

This is reminiscent of the Chase Young trade a few years ago. Both are former 1st round picks, unlikely to re-sign with their current team, with risk involved as both players have extensive injury histories. Young was also traded for a 3rd round pick.
Sources: Miami is trading edge rusher Jaelan Phillips to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for a 2026 third-round pick. This is the third trade the Eagles have made in the past week. They now have added Phillips, CB Jaire Alexander and CB Michael Carter.

What the Seahawks are doing this year after a huge pivot this offseason is impressive. They traded away their QB1 and WR1 but upgraded at both of those positions. They also seem to have early hits on 4 draft picks in Zabel, Emmanwori, Arroyo, and Horton. DL creates chaos too.

Bowers with 12 catches, 127 yards, and 3 TDs in his first game back from injury. Unreal.
Bowers is a WR and should be paid as such when the times comes. I’ll say it every time from now until he gets paid.

The Rams backloaded Adams’ contract with 20M due this year and 24M due next year, but he’s well on his way to securing the backloaded pay for next year. Adams leads the NFL with 8 receiving TDs so far this season.
