- One long video → 13 post-ready clips. no editor, didn't even leave my claude session. - Paste a youtube link, ask for portrait clips with captions, get 13 back, each scored so you know which to post first. - For brands, agencies, podcasters, and clippers who film once and post everywhere.

we added MCP support to reap a few weeks ago. since then, people have been using it in ways i genuinely didn't predict. one user is triggering full clip caption dubbing workflows straight from Claude. another has it wired into an n8n pipeline that processes every new podcast episode automatically, zero manual steps. we built it thinking developers would care. turns out creators who got tired of clicking buttons care even more.

Working @Reap_AI has made me think a lot about the future of video creation. The opportunity isn’t replacing creativity. It’s removing the repetitive work around it so people can spend more time on the actual idea.

One thing I’ve learned: users don’t want “AI” for the sake of AI. They want saved time, better output, less friction, and more creative control. The magic is when the tech disappears into the workflow.

Couldn’t agree more! 🤞
Claude says: “You’ve reached the maximum length for this conversation. Start a new chat.” It hits this after just 2-3 messages. Add an image or screenshot and it forces a new chat, no way to carry over context. By far, Codex has the best context management. Codex just works naturally with massive persistent context that handles images and long sessions.

We have seen a huge number of clipping officers setup at reap.video in last 2 months with their Claude, ChatGPT and Openclaw. You are invisible if you are not creating short form content.
We'll soon see the rise of the "Chief Clipping Officers" at companies The person who figures out the 47 second moment inside the 2 hour podcast that gets 10M views Probably will be the highest paid marketing hire of 2027

This unlocks the last piece of the puzzle for agentic video editing. We’ve been running a full unified layer for a year at @reap_ai and it has proven true in every way: - video as editable text/code, the single source of truth - the exact same layer the AI/agent edits - the exact same layer a human curates in the browser - and the exact same layer that renders on export That’s exactly why we ship & iterate so fast. Legacy pipelines (Descript, Opus, Veed, etc.) still can’t do flexible multi-segment stitches using agent, from the same video. We made the hard architectural choice early: heavily modified Remotion WebCodecs. Now the only tool with truly flexible editing native AI/agent features.
You can now edit HyperFrames’ Timeline directly! Drag in preview → video updates When Claude Code struggles with timing, you can give it a hand Experimental, open sourced in @hyperframes/player $ npx hyperframes upgrade RT Comment "Timeline" for source code (must follow)

I’ve seen so many founders underestimate the power of SEO, treating it as an afterthought or “nice to have.” Truth is, SEO isn’t just a checkbox, it’s a growth engine. If you’re ignoring it, you’re leaving serious traffic (and revenue) on the table. #SEO #Startups
